Shop Greeter (Windermere)

Based within our wonderful Windermere shop in the beautiful Lake District, this role will help to bring our shop to life. We’re looking for someone who is friendly and loves having a chat.

We know that our shops continue to be wonderful treasure troves and so attract lots of customers, supporters and donors. What we’d like you to do is simply welcome our customers, chat to them and maybe even flick the kettle on!

On some days this might mean smiling and saying hello to a few customers, chatting to people if they are waiting to be served or just being there to keep other volunteers company. You'll be able to bring your own personality to this role and it’s a great way to meet people in the local community!

Alongside our fantastic Volunteer Team you will be the first person our customers and prospective volunteers meet – so your enthusiasm and friendliness will be hugely important in creating a great reputation for the Shop in the local community. You will be provided with training and ongoing support and will have access to the latest campaign and charity news via our internal volunteering website.

Ideally we are looking for someone who can commit to a regular morning or afternoon shift per week.
