Post-Race Reception (Great North Run )

You'll be part of a friendly team of volunteers and staff celebrating our runners' success at the post-race reception.

There are a number of other ways you'll be getting involved. Welcoming the foot-weary runners, their friends and family as well as handing out food and drinks - it'll be fun. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be part of this amazing event and also to help us thank our runners for all their hard work and money they have raised.

You don't need any previous experience just enthusiasm, energy and like chatting with people. You'll be fully briefed and supported on the day and as a one-off event, this is a great way to volunteer without any ongoing commitment. Refreshments and travel expenses will be covered (receipt of travel will be needed though) and you'll get one of our natty t-shirts too!

So, if you are a bit of a party animal, love to talk and can donate a few of your precious hours then this is the role for you.
