We've made enormous progress for children over the last few years and we want to build on this. We live in a world where natural disasters caused by climate change threaten the lives of children. As you can well imagine, as a large international humanitarian charity we do a lot of travelling. We need to understand what our carbon footprint is across the UK and the impact it has had on our environment. This is a really exciting opportunity for you to get involved and help us become more environmentally responsible and make positive changes. It@s really important that we do everything we can to reduce our own carbon omissions.

You'll be looking at travel activities across the UK, in particular, travel expenses taken in 2017 to find out what our carbon emission are. You'll use this information to map our carbon footprint. Your work will help us identify what we need to do to become more environmentally responsible.

You'll be using excel, databases and software systems. Have you heard of Agresso? Don't worry if you haven't as we'll show you how to use. You'll be part of a team working on improving accountability and transparency and the Accountability Officer will be there for support.

The results of this piece of work will help inform the nature of our future environmental initiatives to help us to become more accountable to children and the environment.

The role is based in our Farringdon office. This is a short term project and it would be great if you could commit to two days a week for up to 6 months. The hours can be flexible to fit in with your commitments. So, if you're over 18 and want to help us protect the environment and make a difference just click Apply.
